A PAT assistant (PAT = Process Analytical Technology) is an AI-powered assistant that helps you analyze your measurement data and run chemometric evaluations through a conversation. You describe your goal in plain language, and it plans and carries out the analysis with you.

The assistant combines Large Language Models (LLMs) – which understand your goal and plan the workflow – with established, validated domain libraries that do the actual work: chemometrics, data analytics, design of experiments, and Bayesian optimization. Every step is logged and stays under your control (human-in-the-loop).

The assistant works with a wide range of process and laboratory data – spectroscopy (e.g. NIR, Raman, IR, UV/Vis), chromatography, and tabular measurement or sensor data. It connects directly to your instruments and local data sources and reads common file formats, with no manual export.

No. The assistant supports experts and accelerates routine tasks. All recommendations are transparently justified – the final decision remains with humans.
